Elizabeth Dunn

Artistic Associate

Elizabeth Dunn is an interdisciplinary artist working across video, installation, performance and participation to consider social ecology, ‘nature’ and place. Her solo and collaborative works have been presented at the Next Wave Festival, Artshouse, Performance Space, Brisbane Powerhouse, On Edge Festival, The National Portrait Gallery, KickArts Contemporary Arts and Cairns Regional Art Gallery.In 2012 Elizabeth presented FLYWAY, a project developed in partnership with Birdlife Australia and in collaboration with Lawrence English, at the Next Wave Festival (Melbourne) and On Edge (Cairns). Elizabeth has completed a Bachelor of Built Environment and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and worked as part of the management team to develop Reach Arts, DETA’s Far North Queensland regional arts education strategy during 2008/9. In 2008 she co-founded the Cairns-based ARI Crate 59, which she directed until 2010.
