A SHAPE OF A SEEN LANDSCAPE

Selected

Kai Miedendorp

Whenever I reflect on the situation of today’s world, I always end up confronting the moral question: what action is acceptable or responsible? Humans believe that their will is free. This illusionary perception of freedom stems from our consciousness, experience and our indifference to prior natural causes. They are sensible of their desire and unaware of the causes by which their desires are determined. A reflection of a contemporary society is released.

Kai Miedendorp (b. 1980) is an award winning filmmaker and video artist. He studied journalism & film in Munich, Berlin, Prague and Los Angeles. His works explores the relationship of our environmental memory and the perception of inner and outer landscape.
